I have decided to sell my beautiful red Honda Accord Type R with the rare red interior. Regrettably i am only selling the Honda due to a change in my personal circumstances (my wife passed away) I bought the car privately from a gentleman who had looked after the car over I think 18 years always garaged never out in the wet ot salty roads . The car has a large full service history contained in an A4 folder, every tax disc mot receipt the last receipt was in September 2024 for a full service cam belt tensioner and also a Honda health check in total over £1000 . It also had a new steering pump fitted . The service history is all Honda main dealer . The current mot runs to April 2026 and now is clear after I had the windscreen repaired. I have had a new roof lining installed also 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres which have done approximately 700 miles . The red interior is in excellent condition the front seats minimal wear rear seats immaculate door cards ect in beautiful condition and carpets have been protected by Honda mats. The bodywork and paint condition is in very good condition and apart from a few stone chips to the bonnet and front bumper it is in very good condition for a 23 year old car . I have had the bodywork ceramic coated to protect it. Underneath as far as I have been informed the car was undersealed when new and this I think along with being garaged for so long has left a strong chassis and floor panel. The original back boxes are still on it and the real wheel arches still have their plastic edging fitted. I will shortly be putting it on a ramp and photographing the underneath and bulkhead and will update the advert. I bought the car last year basically as a hobby . I wanted a car good enough to go to car shows and when i saw this one I had to buy it . Infact I didn't see the car but bought it from photographs and had it delivered to my house on a low loader . It was in brilliant condition apart from the roof lining and tyres which I have replaced . The car stands out mainly due to it high red shine to the bodywork and has been admired by quite a few people attending car shows / meets . The main aspect of this car is when you sit in it you have to drive it its one of those cars you feel right at home with and when the VTEC kicks in its brilliant. I am a Honda man having had 7 Honda's including Civic type r another ATR Crv's and I am not a boy racer but a person who loves and looks after all the vehicles I have owned and without giving my age away I have been driving for over 59 years
