It's a 24 year old Jag which is ULEZ compliant and a joy to drive. It's got amazingly low mileage, and when I got it from a dealer a year ago it had obviously been carefully looked after (no service history though), doing just a thousand or so miles a year for many years. I've driven about 10, 000 miles in it, and it's been reliable all that time. I've had it serviced twice and it has 11 months MOT.
I have brought it back up to good running order, with new rear brake calipers, a new battery, a new air-con compressor (cool and powerful!) and new rear ABS sensors. One wheel needed it's dented rim to be straightened, which has been done.
The bodywork is in good condition, with a couple of blemishes on the rear bumper. Everything else is straight and the car polishes nicely. This car model is one of Jeremy Clarkson's guilty pleasures, and it was easy to see why. The engine is smooth and willing, with plenty of power on tap, and will pull smoothly in 4th from 10mph! The ride and handling are reassuring, and the car doesn't suffer the craze for super-hard suspension of many rivals, eating up bumps without a problem. It has permanent all-wheel drive, a great feature on slippery autumn and winter drives where it is sure-footed and feels super-safe.
