2 Rover 800 coupes. A 1997 Vitesse, Silver with Slate leather, genuine 68, 000( all MOTs)mls. I have owned this car since August 2009. Please see following Listing. The Vitesse has a small issue with the near side sill, please see pic. Also the turbo, while working perfectly, has a rear seal problem which leaks small amounts of oil into the coolant. I believe it to be a simple if time consuming fix. Also a few bumps, scrapes small dent on bonnet. This car was hard waxed after purchase and is still black and solid underside
Also a 1997 Sterling KV6Auto(with a very late factory 2004 engine) Bolero red with cream leather, owned since July 2013 97, 000 mls. It also has a nearside sill issue, which has been welded for MOT. Honestly I would replace both aforementioned siils, as readily available. Issue with windsceen scuttle, see pic. repairable, also a repairable replacement in spares car.
Both, start drive and run beautifully. with remarkable, quiet smooth engines and are in remarkable condition, relative, indeed up until very recently, not quite concours, but 9/ 10. Both have current MOTs. However both need some attention, though in reality, both could, be everyday cars, or concours perhaps in the right hands. Indeed the Sterling is used most days
Also a 3rd car, Sterling coupe, non runner, full, and I mean full, of parts accumulated since 2007.

Both have had full synthetic oil & filter changes every 1 -3000mls. Transmission fluid in Sterling, FULLY changed, 3 times using CORRECT JF403e Fluid. Transmission oil in Vitesse 4 times using CORRECT MTF94/ GL5 full synthetic. Vitesse radiator, water pump, belt and TENSIONER changed 4, 000 ago, with OAT coolant. Selling in truth, because of family issues, etc., Though I live almost in ULEZ also.
