Hi All,
Please find for sale is my 1979 Austin Mini Special 1100.
I purchased this vehicle over 3 years ago and have kept it garaged and well maintained and regularly ran during periods of good weather.
The previous owner restores classic minis for a profession and is highly skilled in doing so. He has kept a record of the works carried out on his Instagram page. @bisleyspeedshop. You can find his work and this car on his page. He bought it from a family which had owned it since new, but the car began its life in belgium so I'm the 4th owner technically in the UK.
The 1100 continues to be well maintained and recently had the head gasket replaced and electronic ignition installed.
Prior to my ownership, the following works were completed Front subframe rebuild with new bushes and powder-coated parts.
New brake drums, shoes, cylinders and hoses.
Suspension dampers and cones replaced and Hi-Lo adjustable height units fitted although left at standard ride height.
Engine teardown/ inspection and cylinder head rebuild - hardened exhaust valve seats fitted meaning this can be run with unleaded fuel.
New standard diameter exhaust
New tyres all round.

It does have some rust spots, but for an original body, this is in great condition compared to its peers and you'll not need to worry for many years to come. This is a drive away vehicle ready for the summer.
