For sale is my 1998 Porsche Boxster 2. 5 manual in Arctic Silver with contrasting Boxster Red full leather interior. This is arguably the most desirable spec for these early cars, as it is the colour scheme used on the 1993 Boxster Concept that previewed the production car’s design.
This a low mileage example in very good condition for it’s age. The car comes with a 12 month MOT and a full service history. Most recent service was a Major Service completed by Porscha Works in Coventry on 21/ 05/ 24 at 78, 303 miles.
I have owned and enjoyed the car for the past 11 years, accumulating nearly half of the overall mileage. For most of this time it has been stored in a garage and driven sparingly on fair weather days. Overall condition of the car is very good for it’s age. There are a few marks on the paintwork, most notably a few stone chips on the bonnet and an unfortunate scuff on the bumper from an incompetent fellow road user whilst attempting to park. Please see photos of both attached. The interior is very clean, with only slight wear on the seat's leather befitting of the car’s age. The car was delivered by AFN Limited in Chiswick on 01/ 08/ 98 and has 4 former keepers.
In 2015 I replaced the ageing roof with a more modern example with a glass rear screen with a heating element from BAS International in Wales.
Each garage I have taken it to for servicing over the years (Autofarm, Cotswold Porsche, P. C. T) has commented on it’s condition, both aesthetically and mechanically.
The car comes with 2 original keys, Porsche dealer pack, lots of paperwork including invoices for work completed during my ownership and before, along with prior MOT certificates. All 4 Continental tyres have plenty of tread. The car is ready to be enjoyed for summer!
