Offered for sale is this 1959 Land Rover Series 2 109 Recovery Truck presented in lovely condition with some beautiful patina and glorious original sign writing.
A very reasonable 60k miles indicated and this is believed to be true however we are unable to authenticate this.
This particular example features the sought after and rather sturdy 2. 3 litre petrol engine, high and low ratio box, selectable 4 wheel drive, leaf springs and of course the main party piece here is the winch which we believe to be operative!
This Series 2 Recovery Truck has been subject to a few repairs over the last couple of years including:

New Rotor Arm
New Spark Plugs
New Wheel Bearings (F&R)
New Water-Pump
New Radiator Hoses
Presented in Marine Blue, the bodywork is in honest, unrestored condition and features that quintessential old series Land Rover patina. The steel 16 inch wheels have at some point been carefully refurbished and look absolutely superb.
The two tone blue and cream seats are replacements and still in their original packaging. These look fantastic alongside the blue paintwork and cream sign writing however the originals are still present albeit having seen better days.
The remainder of the interior presents in relatively good order with a few cosmetic imperfections as you would expect.

Only x2 former keepers from new.
