My little Opel manta GTE 2. 0 manual moted until August! This little car was found in a shed almost a year ago with pallets and various garbage laying on it very much unloved so I purchased it from the owner who had no time for it when we got it it would start for a few seconds then die so we trouble shot it and replaced coil, leads , plugs, controller until we found the very basic early ECU with slight condensation damage to the top of the board we sourced another good ECU and it fired right up and ran under its own steam held its revs held its oil pressure and ran like a clock so we replaced all the brakes and set it for a pre MOT failed on brakes not being even across the axles had that fixed only for the original exhaust to fail so I fitted a full sportex exhaust system and it then passed its MOT no advisories Since then I have put nearly 2k miles on it as I can't help myself but drive it! Unfortunately the paint lets the little car down and would benefit a paint correcting as shown in all the pictures these cars are becoming rare to see on the road as most are locked away for shows only my little Manta GTE is a drivers car pulls well changes gear well, the release bearing is beginning to grumble but still working fine and a brand new one comes with the car. To go with the car is a full set of morrettes headlights never used spare bonnet spare boot lid spare rear spatts spare rear lights brand new rear struts and lots more to go with the car I have priced the car so as to leave enough on for the next owner to sort the paint out and still make good money.
All the usual bits on these cars were welded and sorted in 2013 with documents to prove has some great history with it too it shuts down Goodwood race track as it ruptured it's fuel lines with the owner back in 2012 I have the receipts for new fuel lines and track cleaning this car can be seen on very well documented and loved on the platform for any more info please contact me as I'm sure IV forgotten so much more as I hate writing adds but unfortunately I have to sell the wee car as iv lost my storage and workshop to complete the car I am heartbroken I need to sell but it is what it is plus I would rather this little car went to someone who knows what they are doing with it. IL tell you why the poor folk on the street or driving there own cars literally braking there necks to see this car go by and to see it being driven and not stored when I got this old girl on the road so many people told me put it away in storage I told them no I'm DRIVING IT!
