Yamaha SC 500cc 2 stroke 1973
One of the original widow makers. Considered too powerful for its brakes and chassis with a hair trigger powerband. NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED. Extremely powerful, fantastic runner. My example has updated rear suspension, different carb jetting and uprated ignition unit and advance curve, so runs better than new. Just had full bottom end rebuild with almost brand new gearbox, balancer shaft chain, and balancer shaft tensioner, all are used but excellent. Whilst doing this, I fitted brand new main bearings, all gearbox bearings, main oil seals, and clutch plates.
Overall condition of the bike is very good, not perfect, but in it's early life it was probably used as full on race motorcrosser. Only a very few examples of this bike are in the UK and running in this condition. Grab a piece of history - £5000.
