TR7 convertible in Cavalry Blue with electric power steering.
Please note that the actual mileage is 80460 not 84600 - this was a genuine typing mistake.
I have owned this car for nearly 6 years. The previous owner maintained the car with no regard to cost. The car had a complete new interior, prop shaft, fuel tank, full poly bush kit on the suspension, rear KYB shocks, recon heater, recon steering rack, new clutch including hydraulics, new viscous fan unit and new boot trim. All the work and maintenance was undertaken by S&S Preparations and there is an extensive history file.
Since then the car has completed 4200 miles and in that time I have had electric power steering fitted with adjustable resistance as well as a new alternator, battery, Powerspark electronic ignition, spin-off oil filter, LED instrument lights, new front shock absorbers, anti-dive blocks, headlamp relays, Mintex brake pads, DRL’s and aluminium carb mounts.
The car has been well maintained with annual oil changes and bi-annual coolant changes. The gearbox oil and diff oil have also been changed.
The tyres are Goodyear RainExpert with plenty of tread left, including the spare.
The car always starts promptly and runs extremely well with no issues or over-heating. The steering is very positive and easy - especially at low speeds with the benefit of the power steering and the ride is good. I always have complete confidence in the car’s capability and reliability.
The bodywork is in very good condition although there are some minor rust blisters on the doors. The paintwork is good and in line with the car’s age. The underside is solid and has been Lanoguarded.
The hood is excellent and watertight, however there is a slight split in the driver’s rear quarter light which has been sealed with a Triumph branded decal.
The hood cover is in excellent condition.
There is also a modified BMW wind deflector which folds up and down from brackets on the rear parcel shelf.
The car is registered as historic and is Tax and MOT free however it has the reassurance of a valid MOT until May 2026.
