2003 MK1 MG ZT 260 SE finished in British Racing Green (HFF).
For sale is my ZT 260, supplied by Caffyns of Worthing in December 2003. This is an early MK1 V8 and is chassis number 0079. I have owned for coming up to ten years. In this time the vehicle has been meticulously maintained by myself and a few specialists. I’ve not driven the vehicle in the wet or on any salty roads in my entire ownership and it shows.
This 260 retains its original sills due to regular clear waxing once a year with Dynax UC. It has been machine polished and waxed once a year, which shows on the unmarked and vibrant BRG paint finish. (Bar a few age related stone chips which have been touched in over the years). The full leather interior is in as new condition, with the drivers seat showing very minimal wear, which is rare to see on a ZT. The leather has been treated every few months with Gliptone leather products.
Being a full SE spec, the vehicle comes fitted with, climate control, heated memory leather seats, sat nav, sunroof (modifications to drain tubes done), front and rear electric windows etc. The car also came with the factory fit XPower exhausts, which sound fantastic and is a must have on any 260.
The car has had all the usual 260 and ZT specific issues sorted during my ownership. Upgraded heater hoses, sunroof drain modification, fuel filter clip, front springs and dampers, including recent new old stock front callipers, discs and pads.
It has been fully serviced in my ownership including regular changes of the gearbox and diff oil. Front and rear subframes are in fantastic condition and will not need any work. These subframes have been protected with wax to ensure longevity. It’s also recently had all four alloys refurbished to bring these back up to standard, which are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport four tyres.
This 260 has been maintained to a high show standard. Having won many first place awards over the years, including the best car in class and show at ZED15. Anyone who has seen the car, can understand it’s almost as new appearance. Viewings highly recommend to attain the vehicles excellent condition.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase a very well looked after and maintained ZT 260 in one of the best colours for the car. The 4. 6 litre V8 is a fantastic lazy V8 with plenty of character that makes any journey feel like an event. I’ll be sad to see the car go but a recent purchase forces sale.
