Description

Selling one of my TR7 V8s, amazing car which I will be sad to see it go. Looking for £8000 including the number plate. Based on Hayling Island
Description of the car is below:

Engine
High performance 3. 5 V8 with flapper injection, I believe it has been fitted with a performance cam amongst other things as it is faster than my other TR7V8 with fast road cam. No knocks or unwanted noise from the engine, extremely clean oil. Starts on the key really well. Tubular manifolds with rimmers stainless mid and back boxes.
Recent injection system rebuild. No fluid leaks.
Engine bay parts:
TR8 radiator and mounts
Electric fan

Chassis
American LHD shell with a professional conversion to RHD.
Strengthened sills (when you jack the car up there is no movement and the panel gaps don’t change) which if you know triumphs is unheard of.
Panel gaps are perfect
No rust on any chassis rails
Battery relocated to the boot

Bodywork
Painted in Jaguar oyster beige which gets so many compliments and is a real head turner.
Forest Rally front spoiler
Very straight with no dents at all
Would benefit from some paintwork but is presentable as is
Tasteful black side stripe on the body line
Front and rear lights work well
Bottoms of the doors are in very good condition in the areas that tr doors are prone to going

Interior
Mint condition tan check interior (late interior with black handles, square door locks, large headrests.
V8 rev counter
Fuel gauge doesn’t work
Tan vinyl roof and tonneau cover.
New seatbelts
Late steering wheel.
One key

Good LT77 and 3. 08:1 standard TR8 differential.
Standard TR7 alloys painted in gold. Tread is good but the tires are old and would benefit from being replaced.
Capri 2. 8 front brakes and updated rear brake pistons. Recent brake bleed
Recent fuel tank flush and new fuel pump
Fuel tank treated and painted

APW2X number plate worth £1700
Allegedly built by Brian Wilkinson of safety devices who designed the Aley roll bar and fitted roll cages to the works TR8 rally cars.
A mountain of history and receipts with the car.
Registered as historic with the 3. 5 litre engine. This car is fast, looks great and is in great condition.
