Description
VW Shark buggy on a short wheelbase.
Possibly a Sandrail in previous life considering the roll frame and reinforced box section framework.
Older build reimagined as we bought what can only be described as an ugly duckling, over two hundred man hours have gone into this buggy. Former shark body on a reinforced chassis, i have a couple of photos of what it looked like before if needed.
Type 3 disc front beam that has been grafted on to the shortened beetle chassis, its an incredibly solid bit of kit with rebuilt calipers with disc brakes.
Metal flake orange over red on a black base, its not perfect but looks absolutely spectacular and gets amazingly positive comments wherever its seen.
Runs and drives as a buggy should.
Sounds amazing ! it is a little bit loud but adds to the experience of driving a buggy.
1500 engine that appears to have been rebuilt recently no end float and starts easily . I would say its not done very many miles .
Can’t confirm as we don’t have any history from the previous owner but it pulls like a train and only shows 288 miles on the clock.
Tax free, MOT exempt. Cheap insurance and 2 seats.
1970 with a great reg number too.
Its here to sell as I don't have the room to keep it , I'd love to see it on the beach somewhere . Viewings test drives and delivery can be arranged .
Thanks for looking and please feel free to message if you feel like making an offer.
