The car was subject to a full and comprehensive restoration down to ever bolt but retains the original details and inserts etc. The car was in great condition (with low mileage) however the original owner embarked on a no expense spare restoration, given his attachment to it.
All running gear and mechanicals refurbished, engine runs sweet, clean, and it starts on the first turn of the key.
Everything is in full working order, all new wiring loom and perishable parts replaced.
Interior all original.
Car comes complete with original owners handbook, accessories book and guide to operating your Ford escort.
It also comes with the original service booked showing the assurance cover commencing on the 4th August 1976.
The service book also verifies the low mileage first service on 12th September 1977 mileage 1, 514. Dealer stamped record in 1987 with mileage at 12, 110, followed by 25, 600 miles in 2012.
