Description
Fully working bike with disk front brake and drum rear. Right gear change, five speed. Hagon shocks. Harris four valve oil pump (no leak through when left standing). Ethanol upgraded carb internals. POR-15 fuel tank sealant for modern fuel. Spin-on fuel filter. New Lucus wiring harness along with coils and condensers. Contact breaker ignition. 12V positive ground electrics. New lighting switch. Replaced fork seals and damping oil, gaiters fitted. After market silencers. New control cables and flexible parts of hydraulic brake line. Replacement side panels (originals still here) to better seal new air filter elements. New fuel lines (pre-assembled)
This bike was brought as a usable classic. It starts and runs well. The single carb is easy to live with. Most electrics are new and all working perfectly (even the front brake light switch). I would upgrade regulator if keeping the bike. Carb and tank norw suitable for modern fuel with ethanol. Recently increased price a bit after being reminded by another owner about how good these bikes are as enjoyable and highly usable machines. A genuine practical classic.
The seat was recovered by previous owner, this could have been done better. They also replaced silencers with genetic type.
The Tiger 750 is an excellent usable classic. Easy to maintain, rides well, even has decent brakes. The five speed gearbox comfortably keeps up with traffic and makes these bikes good for classic touring or riding back roads with a smile.
I brought this to use. Having changed jobs and looking for new home, my classic bikes have been in storage (see photos) and need to be sold. There are not many pictures of the bike as it remains in storage (fuel removed), where the buyer would collect it.
