1978 Lancia Monte-Carlo S1 Spyder · Convertible · Driven 53, 600 miles.
Recently recommissioned and improved since lying largely unused since body restoration in 1996. Literally thousands spent in making the car a joy to drive but also being very reliable! ( just completed over 400 miles round trip to Bicester a few weeks ago.)
Upgrades in the last twelve months include having an electronic ignition distributor using the ‘Ignition 123’ system fitted- This allows precise adjustments to be made via an app/ bluetooth. Also twin Weber 42dcnf carbs fitted and balanced, new Facet fuel pump and malpassi fuel pressure regulator, Wosp hi-torque starter motor ensures easy turnover , , upgraded HT leads, upgraded twin headlamps, various wiring relay upgrades, refurbished alloys with as new matching Yokohama tyres fitted , recent leather interior, alpine radio cassette with CD auto changer in glove box. The list goes on. Only used in dry weather. ‘Double bubble’ fibreglass hard top included. Original Lancia tool kit.
