Description
VEITURA offers you this rare 1974 LANCIA Fulvia Monte Carlo series, certified ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano in Turin), built in only 2, 500 examples. The 1300 cm3 power unit is fitted with a WEBER twin carburettor and its original 5-speed manual gearbox. Its current owner has an extensive service history with supporting invoices, a service manual and technical and sales documentation. The vehicle is in excellent condition, considering the half-century that has passed since it was first put on the road. The most recent servicing includes rebuilding the starter motor, adjusting the carburettor, valves, ignition and replacing the platinum screws, fuel pump, windscreen washer pump, fuel hoses, brake fluid, oil filter, air filter and oil change. The leatherette upholstery is in excellent original condition apart from the renovation of the driver's seat by a saddler. There is still a small tear in the leatherette of the rear bench seat, which can be seen in the photos. The roof lining needs to be refurbished and the steering gear checked. The car covers any distance and can be driven without difficulty, as it is very reliable. A survey was carried out in 2015 and the roadworthiness test on 20 June revealed no major defects. The vehicle is equipped with a fire extinguisher and a map light for navigation. This rare example of the Monte Carlo limited series has been repainted in its original colour. Everything is virtually original, as successive owners have obviously taken care to renovate parts whenever possible rather than replace them. The posted mileage of 66, 000 km seems to correspond to the actual mileage. The current owner has the history of the vehicle with the various successive owners since the origin. A rare vehicle that is very pleasant to drive with a power to weight ratio of 92 hp for 1100kg to acquire with confidence and to preserve as the previous owners have done.
