1968 MGC GT in tartan red, current owner since 2012. Benefitting from a professional bare metal restoration mid 2018 - early 2020 by Manor Garage, Wantage. All rust removed and previous repairs made good to a very high standard. High quality paint job by renowned paint shop Brick Kiln Automotive Paint Specialists. Extensive photographic evidence of work and all invoices, many thousands spent!
Engine built to fast road specification with triple Weber 45 DCOE carburettors, polished and ported lead free cylinder head, fast road camshaft and balanced crankshaft and conrods. Revotec twin fan cooling kit. Exhaust manifold benefitting from Zircotec ceramic coating. Downton twin stainless steel exhaust. Electronic ignition and high output alternator. Twin 12V battery conversion. Overdrive gearbox and 3. 7:1 rear axle. Drilled front brake discs with uprated pads. Polybushes fitted during restoration, with recent new rear parabolic leaf springs.
Webasto sunroof. Half roll cage. Leather interior with walnut dash and door cappings. Spare crankshaft (very rare), and dust cover included in the sale, along with 4 spare pistons and a selection of gaskets. Sitting on knock-on Minilite replica wheels, also comes with 4 x wire wheels.
Extensive history file with all bills since ownership and from previous owners, including Heritage Certificate (matching numbers). A collection of MGC related books also included. Dry stored and fair weather use only since restoration. What's not to love about this fantastic example of the MGC GT. It is in excellent condition, runs beautifully and sounds incredible.
