Built in early 1969, this fine C GT was taken to South Africa by its owner in the summer of that year and returned to the UK on a cargo ship named Green Cape in 1999.
The C was restored by Halls Garage in 2014 to its original colour scheme of Mineral Blue with a black interior and still looks fabulous. The bodywork remains in superb order and the interior is very well presented and includes retrimmed front seats and new carpets. The engine bay is very nicely detailed and the ancillaries have either been renewed or refurbished.
The specification includes a 3. 0 litre, six cylinder engine with an overdrive gearbox, electronic ignition, a stainless exhaust, Gaz adjustable shock absorbers and parabolic springs. The wire wheels have been restored and have recent Continental tyres.
A full record of the C's ownership back to new is in the file along with invoices for the restoration and subsequent care and maintenance, an original Owner's handbook and workshop manual and a Heritage Certificate.
The GT has recently had a full service and detailed mechanical works and is ready for use.
