Description

Car was purchased in March 2004 as totally stock V8 289 car with rally pack, power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, vinyl roof.
Car was Featured In “Ford Muscle” program in the Victory by Design series by Speed channel where Alain de Cadenet drove the car.
Car rated top 10 at wet and wild 9 rod and custom event.
MOCGB Santa pod 2021 fastest road car classic.
2005 full bare metal respray on rot free body.
The car has been with me for 21 years of ownership and been sympathetically restomodded to keep car looking original with a stock appearance, apart from sensible lowering, which is an outstanding feature of this car. To passing eye it looks a totally stock, good looking car with real nice stance and presence.
Car is Immaculate throughout, including interior.
450 HP measured on TVR power dyno
Has run 12. 5 second 112mph quarter mile at Santa pod which I find impressive for this car especially as not using huge tyres or anything to spoil as road car.

So why is the mustang different from all the rest.
I’m mechanical engineer of 37 years that works in car industry and basically everything that I did not like about the car I have sympathetically re-engineered.
When I first purchased the car, I was bitterly disappointed on how badly they drive in stock condition and thought it felt dangerous with how it drove so unpredictably, so every winter worked on the part that was bothering me the most.
The car is built to be able to use reliably, anywhere, anytime (except when salts on road, need keep her in good shape) drive to shops, the coast, shows, bit of occasionally drag strip action, tried it out on track day, even been to the tip in the car. It is truly a wonderfully engineered car that is safe, fun to drive which can be spirted when desired and does not overheat in traffic jams.
Exhaust is just right volume and often gets commented on how good it sounds, but when using low rpm is actually good level to come home late at night without annoying neighbours.
Why selling, just don’t seem to be using her that much anymore, need the space and never built it to be a decoration.
Have the original engine for this car as it came out of factory which was a good working engine.
Full documentation of all parts, receipts for everything, suspension data, dyno runs, lot of books, information and instructions. (The number of receipts I have is unbelievable).
Even have large arty picture of car and pictures of literally everything.
Spare parts and specialist tools for the car.
Mot for every year of ownership, even thou not required nowadays.
Most of the manufactured parts are made with bearings rather than bushes for longevity and easy replacement.
A lot of engineering work has been modifying, improving and making stock parts work properly and more efficient. Similar to what Mr Shelby did rather than ripping car to bits and adding ridiculous amount of equipment that only the builder would know how to replace, and also keep the spirit of the mustang without trying to turn it into a race car style, thats not the aim but more a real jack of all trades that is a pleasure to drive.
Have lots of pics of the work carried out, and can take pics of any particular requests.
