Summary
This is a great opportunity to own a genuine 1965 Mustang Fastback with the desirable A-code V8, making it increasingly rare and collectible.
The only reason for sale is a change of plans. I’ve decided to move on to a 1967–1968 Mustang project and build an Eleanor-style car, so I can’t justify keeping both. This Mustang has real soul. It’s not a neglected project or a rushed flip — it’s a genuine, well-preserved classic that still feels alive every time you drive it. The sound, the presence, and the overall feel remind you why these cars are so special.
I bought the car as a personal project, with the plan to restore and enjoy it long-term. The engine has been fully rebuilt, starts easily, runs smoothly, and pulls strongly. It has been done properly and with care.
To be fully transparent, the chassis and suspension have not been restored yet. The car drives, but the next logical step for a new owner would be to refresh the suspension, steering, and braking components to bring the car to the next level. This also gives the buyer the freedom to improve it to their own taste — whether factory-correct or upgraded.
