You are looking for a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II and you want one that is technically just completely top. One that gives you the feeling when you get in: "Hey, this is one that I can use every day ". And with this one you can "certainly".
That's because the Rolls has been brought into perfect technical order by the last owner. Note : a working air conditioning, a working cruise control, a radio unit with Apple Carplay etc. What more could you want?!
Condition of the car:
Very nice and sleek example . It really makes you happy when you look at it . The interior is of course from 1978, but how neat is that! You like to sit in this. Because that's what you do in a Rolls: you don't sit down , you take a seat :-)
The paintwork can be called neat ; however , around the rear window and on the right rear fender there are some signs of "the ravages of time".
You can always do something about that ; first, just enjoy the ride with this British gentleman of standing!
The driving:
And he drives extremely well!
What a wonderful car to drive this is. You have absolutely no idea that you are on the road with an oldtimer, just great class. But yes, that was of course always the goal of Rolls Royce, to build the best car in the world.
Automatic, engine, brakes, everything in top condition. But that is allowed considering the invoices that come with the car.
The maintenance:
No expense or effort has been spared to get this flagship in order and keep it that way.
My calculator counts roughly €20, 000,- for maintenance and upgrades. This beautiful work is all outsourced to Rolls Royce-Bentley-Specialist Stoffels. Chapeau!
That's not bad, but at the same time it explains why this Rolls drives so extremely well.
