Description
Landrover Lightweight 1984 FFR
The vehicle has been dry stored for many years and is in overall very good condition.
In the past couple of years I have resprayed the vehicle in IRR nato green, so paint is pretty immaculate mostly stripped back to bare metal which I have pictures off.
Runs well, engine could do with some attention as most the old paint has flaked off but most importantly it runs well.
Clock reads 5000 miles but I’m unsure whether it’s rolled over since it had a military recon engine fitted.
Has a couple of oil leaks and squeaks on the underside but would it be a series without them.
Looks to be the original chassis that’s had a New Crossmember at some point and isn’t caked in under seal so everything is visible.
Being a 1984 vehicle it is able to be made tax and mot exempt, I can put a mot on it for serious buyers. It made it through its last mot in good shape.
Very nice quality Comptons 2000 ffr hood, two new tyres on, and three new spares, two new door tops, nato hitch. the cars b card shows service with both 2 and 3 para.
Open to offers as I know prices can vary massively.
Thanks, Tom
