Description
1965 ‘C’ code coupe. Original 289ci, 3 speed auto. Rare bench seat model.
California car, built in San Diego, imported in 2016. One UK owner.
Ally radiator, power brakes, power steering, MSD ignition, Holley 4 barrel on Edelbrock manifold. Headers, American Racing mag wheels.
Since in UK: new diff/ rear shocks/ exhaust/ steering and geometry all set up (by Mustang Workshop)/ transmission overhauled/ new head-lining/ dash top/ re-sprayed/ door rubbers/ rev counter/ tyres etc etc. Nice wood rimmed steering wheel, the original is also included should you wish to change back.
MOT history – current one until July with no advisories (I will also get a new one upon sale).
Good quality Hamilton car cover included, recently cleaned and re-proofed. Used only during the summer months, she has been dry stored in a secure garage each winter since arriving in the UK.
This is a genuine and well sorted car, very bright and level and turns a lot of heads, please call or email me to chat.
(issues: the radio doesn’t work and the front seat covers have splits on the upper corners, however new ones are readily available through UK or USA suppliers if you wanted to change them).
The mileage quoted is as per the odometer but I obviously can't verify this due to its age.
Many thanks for your interest. A lovely early Mustang, very pretty and with the rare front bench seat. Smooth driver, well set up. Checked over by respected specialists and all good.
