Description
Not sure how many owners it had but each of us have looked after it very well.
There is no MOT included but I cannot see why it wouldn't pass one.
I purchased the vehicle April 2023 in Liverpool from a private seller.
I have a lot of history; including the full body restoration and engine rebuild with images, receipts, bills etc.
Recently had a full service. For sale is my Kombi, which I have owned for 2 years. Sadly, the family is not using it as much as I had hoped hence the sale.
The body work was completely overhauled back in 2008 I believe. I have all the images for this overhaul.
The engine, type 4, 2. 0 litre (perfect engine size for this vehicle) was overhauled last year and is still under warranty. Again all images available for this.
The electrics are all new, new harnesses etc.
This is a fantastic Kombi and drives beautifully and is very reliable. Starts first time everytime. Cruise speed comfortably at 60mph.
The interior is modern and all faux leather. The pop-top can accommodate an adult comfortably.
I also had the heating redone. So new heat boxes and piping all round.
So much to mention; I am sure I have forgotten loads but feel free to ask as many questions as you want.
There is some cosmetic rust but nothing serious.
Overall an excellent Kombi that is almost brand new after the body, engine, interior and electric overhauls.
Open to sensible offers, this is not an easy sale for us as she is an utter delight to tour in.
Recently completed a tour around Devon and she drove beautifully in all kinds of weather. From stormy showers, to sunny days.
A real head turner and a reliable friend.
P. S: I do have the original Solex carbs for the vehicle including the airbox and all connections. This is included in the sale for the pure of heart.
However, the current Weber single carb is utterly brilliant and the fuel economy is unreal. I do 200 miles on one tank and probably can do a bit more :)
P. S. S: Sold as seen, tried and approved without guarantee
