Description
This is a one owner from new car in totally standard and unmolested condition. It has a full service history with 28 stamps in the service book. My company has been maintaining this car since 2009, before that it was serviced by Carrs of Hexham VW main dealer.
Mechanically the car is very good and drives very well. The paintwork is poor, the bonnet and roof have faded and the lacquer has peeled in several places. There is also a scuff on the nsf bumper. The wheels were refurbished a couple of years ago and the tyres are all Uniroyal rainsport with excellent tread, although there is some slight perishing to the sidewalls. The interior is good with the exception of the headlining which is sagging and the carpet on the back of the rear seats which needs glueing back on.
The spare wheel appears to be unused.
Structurally the car is generally sound, there is a small hole in the nsf sill and the osf jacking point has suffered some damage at some time.
There is corrosion to various suspension components consistent with a car of this age (please check the MOT history).
We are a working garage so underbody inspection will be no problem.
