1999 Honda CT110 postie bike.
Privately imported from New Zealand by a friend of mine in 2022. He did not complete the UK registration and it sat in his garage for 2 years.
I bought it in September 2024, put it through an MOT and got it UK registered.
The bike is basically an upgraded off road version of a Honda C90. It's a 105cc CDI engine with a 4 speed semi-automatic gearbox (no clutch) and high level air intake (built into the rear rack) and exhaust for water fording. They are extremely popular bikes for long distance and off road adventures. You could ride it back to New Zealand tomorrow only needing petrol and an oil change every few hundred miles. Top speed is around 50mph, please note this model does not have the hi/ low range gearbox as some do.
I don't have any history for the time it was in New Zealand but I can tell you it did 40, 000km there. The bike is in good condition considering the age and mileage although there is corrosion starting on the rack, exhaust heat shield and slightly on the wheels, it's fairly bad on the under engine protection bars. The Speedo glass is cracked but not to full thickness, I assume this is from the NZ sun.
