1966 VW Beetle in Sea Blue with 115, 000 documented miles.
We are the third family to own this lovely little car.
It was fully restored once in 2000 and garaged ever since. It has a lovely patina today but is still very solid and the engine and gearbox run beautifully. The seats are a little worn in places but add to the character. The paint is overall very good with the wings having been machine polished very recently. Its suspension was upgraded by Type 2 Detectives a few years ago at great expense which gives the car a lovely stance and better road holding without being too harsh.
We have service history from new including a stamped VW service book.
In our ownership, it has been looked after by Terry’s Beetle Garage in West London, and we have added a roof rack. It also has a working retro looking Bluetooth stereo with phone connectivity. Most recent work incldues a replacement distributor, carb tune, and rebuild of the frunk catch mechanism.
We have priced to sell and very much hope it will find a good home in a family of fellow VW enthusiasts. This little Beetle really wants for nothing and is all set for the summer.
MOT’d until April 2026 and next service due in October.
