Always garaged and used for fun days out and car meets.
Body does have localised rust in the normal places.
Rusty battery tray and rusty portion of nearside front footwell replaced.
Rear subframe replaced about 7 yrs ago.
Adjustable rear suspension fitted at same time but original trumpets available.
Seats are from 30th anniversary model.
Replacement carpets fitted.
Alternator, water pump and clutch slave cylinder, replaced in recent years.
Sporting steering wheel fitted.
Rear seat belts fitted.
Currently SORNed but been run up to temperature and driven on driveway every two weeks.
Current faults:
Inoperative temperature and fuel gauge.
Inoperative hazard switch.
Inoperative speedometer. 1985 Mini Mayfair dressed as Mini Cooper in dark blue with white roof, white waist pinstripe and twin white bonnet stripes. Wheel arch extensions and Minilite style alloy wheels but no spare.
Starts first time and a willing driver.
Bought locally from private owner in 2006 and as of August 2025, 40 years old. From April 2026 should be eligible for free road tax and optional MOT.
