Toyota MR2 GT T-Bar 2. 0 NA in desirable Azure Blue/ Purplish Blue Mica 8K9. This car has a lot of service history, many from main Toyota dealerships. The car had the cambelt changed at 48, 276 miles, alternator changed in March 2024, transmission oil in January 2024 and has recently had some valve cover bolt holes professionally welded and retapped. Currently at 53, 500~ miles (may rise slightly when getting MOT etc), the car is booked for an MOT on June 23rd and I expect it to pass with no advisories, the car will also have an oil and filter change ahead of sale. Ahead of my ownership the car had an exhaust leak, this has been rectified with a stainless Mongoose cat-back exhaust which was purchased new in 2023. Parts of the engine have recently been cleaned and polished, namely the ACIS system. The bodywork is in overall good condition, having no rust or welding on the sills, the paintwork is good with some minor chipping, light dents on the passenger side (behind the door) and light scratches - as expected for a car of this age. The interior of the car is in very good condition, some slight marking on the driver's right seat bolster, though otherwise in very good condition.
The car comes with rare "Man in dandism" floor mats which were imported from Japan in 2024 - these mats were an option on the Japanese G-Limited model and fit the interior well (the car did not have original floor mats when I acquired it). In addition to this, the car comes with both T-Bar covers and their respective dust bags, the speakers have been changed in the car to modernise the audio, and the car has the original stereo/ tape deck. The Mongoose exhaust is desirable as it is both stainless steel and sounds great on the 3SGE engine, the build quality is very good and is reflected in the price tag. The car comes with the original spare wheel and tool set, including the leather bag, it also comes with the original books and carry case. The car will be supplied with 2 keys, however, it is missing the TVSS III B fob (I am aiming to get a new one sorted ahead of sale, but I cannot promise this will be available). The car is currently on TEIN suspension which was purchased new in 2023, the car is also on 15x6. 5 Rays Volk Racing Group AV alloys, they require a refurb due to corroding in the garage over winter. Original alloys will be supplied with the sale. The car also has an extremely rare Tom’s Racing Personal steering wheel, which is on the car with a HKB boss kit; this is a truly rare item and looks great in the interior.
