Norton M40 Manx specification, project bike. According to factory records it was delivered 22 July 1936 to Ron Harris, extras brakes c standard, Manx specification, no kickstart and fitted with megaphone. It has mag crankcases, timing cover and cam box and when I got it had iron barrel and head. The pictures show alloy barrel fitted , I bought a blank casting and machined it, currently needs a liner to be fitted. The head that’s fitted is an alloy with bronze insert, but unfortunately is cracked, May can be repaired. I also have all alloy blank cylinder head that needs machining. In addition to this work I have had the girders completely refurbished and are like new. Some the parts shown in the boxes that came with the project are not correct for this model but will be sold with the bike. Unfortunately I’m not able to continue this project, hence the reason for sale
