Very regrettable sale of this lovely oddball useable very rare car
1984 Vw Santana CX
It's very tidy for an unrestored classic but with a few small marks as expected
Everything works. Temp gauge/ fan behave perfectly and it drives great
The pierburg carb has been replaced with a Weber at some point which is a definite bonus and has plenty of power from the 1600 engine. Professionaly set up by a local tuning chap last year. New rad last year also
Interiors in great condition especially the dash. These are usually cracked badly by now
The headliner has dropped, it's still in but would benefit recovering
Original steel wheels x5 recently refurbished all with conti tyres like new
I have a fair few spares which can be worked into a deal
Definitely a regrettable sale and ideally id store it away with it being such a good egg but I have another project id like to focus on and it deserves to be used
