The Appeal
The Type 4 has long been a favourite among camper van enthusiasts, offering a robust and reliable platform with a more manageable footprint than its larger siblings. This 1995 example started life as a Caravelle minibus before being professionally converted into a fully equipped camper, complete with an MOT-compliant rock-and-roll bed, leisure battery system, mains hook-up, and a fully insulated and carpeted interior.
Earlier this year, this T4 received considerable attention to its bodywork and was resprayed in metallic dark red with a fleck finish, complemented by a black roof. Mechanically, the 1.9-litre non-turbo diesel has been serviced, and the vendor reports that it runs and drives well.image.png1.94 MB
