1954 MG TF, 1250cc XPAG. A relatively rare home market matching number RHD car; not an import converted from LHD (HDE 13 chassis). No rust anywhere. Made far more practical for modern roads by the conversion to a Ford Type 9 five speed gearbox. Also converted to a points triggered electronic ignition for easier starting and professionally fitted with bespoke seatbelts (easily removed if not required), flashing indicators (also easily removed if not required) otherwise very original. Very recent (less than 100 miles since) full service, quality tyres as new. Always garaged, run on E5 and never taken out in inclement weather, although it has a good hood and sidescreens. Very good condition in its original colour of metallic green with biscuit leather. Considerable, but not complete history is with the car, it spent from Nov 1962 to May 2015 in Southern Ireland. This car was then sold to a new owner in Guernsey in 2016 for £24, 495 when the indicated mileage was ~40, 000. It is now ~43, 500; and, while it cannot be verified, given it’s history it is quite plausible that this is genuine. Certainly the condition is commensurate with a low mileage although it has surely had an undocumented very high quality respray at some point.
