This vehicle is a genuine one owner much cherished example in excellent condition having covered just 31, 500 miles, with the smooth V-6 3. 8 litre engine coupled to the 4-speed auto transmission with overdrive lockout. The graphite leather interior is in great condition with the classic Mustang horses stitched into the front seat backs. The car features air conditioning, a powered hood, electric windows, electric door mirrors, a powered driver’s seat, traction control, cruise control, and a 6-CD player. The black vinyl hood looks like new with an integrated glass heated rear window.
External condition is excellent with the integrity of the manufacturer’s markings around the car demonstrating the originality and undamaged nature of panels and paintwork. There is a small scratch on the offside front wheel arch (see photos) and light damage to the offside wing mirror. Some minor polishing swirls can be seen on the boot spoiler. The vehicle includes mirrored ‘Mustang’ inserts to the rear bumper and rear wheel fenders. The vehicle also has 40th Anniversary badges to both front fenders. A remarkable feature of this car is to be seen on the underside (see photos) where it looks exceptionally clean. This is a testament to the owner’s obsession with maintaining the cars great condition by only driving it in the dry and keeping it garaged at all other times. This is one of the last 4th Generation (SN95) Mustangs to be manufactured, being first registered in Texas USA in Nov 2003, and then registered in the UK following its import by the owner in Nov 2009, and now featuring a great registration number – P26 USA.
The engine starts and runs perfectly but the car has not been driven on the road in the last two years due to the owner’s ill health. The last MOT was passed in April 2022 at 31, 293 miles with no advisories. Since then the vehicle has been garaged full time, started and ‘rolled on the driveway’ occasionally to maintain engine and running gear mobility. The vehicle does not have a current MOT certificate but is expected to fly through the test with no problems.
