Description
Triumph Herald convertible 13/ 60 genuine cv 1971
Genuine cv convertible
not a conversion.
Mot and road tax exempt.
Ready to enjoy for the summer.
£1200 just spent on tyres, service, brakes etc. with receipts to prove.
This lovely 4 seater convertible was similar to the one from the BBC programme 'Last of the Summer Wine' - same make, model and colour.
It is mechanically excellent and has just had an oil and filter change, sparks & leads, 4 new tyres on refreshed wheels, stainless exhaust box, brakes, hoses etc. New battery too.
New wood rim wheel with new aluminium boss.
The chassis is solid and the underside very clean with no rust, the boot area is excellent and welding of the outriggers all done and solid.
The paintwork is only average however although shiny. Photos flatter a bit!
Doors shut nicely and the interior is clean and presentable.
The roof canvas/ vinyl is brand new and expensive! So the rear windows are lovely and clear and the vinyl shiny. There is also a half tonneau for when the roof is down.
This is a very useable classic for the summer and has excellent spares availability with a great owners club.
