1985 Volkswagen T25 / T3 Panel Van - 1 Family since new. 44, 900 Miles
Here we have a very special T25, originally a family member's carpet fitting fleet van back in the 80’s. It was then removed from the fleet and kept in his private collection until 2019 when I took ownership of it.
The van has spent a fair amount of its life in dry storage and had no expense spared with maintenance over the years with invoices to prove. I have the original Manuals and V. A. G books supplied with the van and even the original bill of sale.
The bodywork is in good condition for the age of the vehicle, some seam rash in places, some bubbles at the bottom of the sliding door and a fair stone chip on the front. This can be rectified, unfortunately a house purchase forces sale and I no longer have the time to give it the attention it deserves.
I carried out a partial conversion in the back and it has been used for day & overnight trips, it's insulated and ply lined, flooring fitted and tongue and groove on the roof. It has a leisure battery charged by a split relay. This supplies the 12v control panel which I used to run a cool box and phone charging (standard USB ports). The conversion can quite easily be reverted back to original.
The van drives beautifully and I will miss it dearly.
