Description
A handsome, solid car which runs well. If your aim is to win shows, this may not be the car for you - but if you're looking for a car to enjoy this must be a good candidate. The heritage certificate confirms this car as a UK RHD model, built June 1958 . The 1622cc engine appears to have been fitted fairly early in the car's life, while considerable renovation took place in the 1990s. The upholstery has been retrimmed in magnolia, but the dash retains its original green. Hood, tonneau and side-screens are all present but I doubt I've had the hood up more than a couple of times. I bought the car in 2013, attracted by its local provenance, and it's proved easy to care for and usefully nimble with its 1622cc engine.
It's time now to pass it on to someone who will enjoy using it, and it's realistically priced as not a show-pony but a straightforward car with no known faults.
