Description
I purchased the tercel in Jan 2024 from a dealer 'David Graves; of Ilkley, it has had one previous owner from new and came with large amount of documentation including the original sales invoice and two service books with a total of 27 stamps, there is a 4 year gap in the MOT history where the car i believe was parked up and not used until the dealer purchased it as part of an estate settlement (documents included)
since I have owned the vehicle, the following has been work has been carried out:
Door handles, locks and window winders freed off
Cam belt and tensioner replaced
Air filter replaced
Thermostat replaced, bypass pipe seals replaced, colling system flushed and refilled with fresh anti-freeze
Windscreen washer pipes replaced
Fuel filter and pipes replaced
Points, distributor cap, rotor head, condenser replaced, and timing corrected
Replacement radio installed along with installation of rear speakers (original radio retained)
Aerial replaced which led to cleaning of heater fan and duct work
Tail gate gas struts replaced
Drive shafts replaced (originals retained)
Gearbox and rear diff oil changed
Engine oil and filter changed
Front discs and pads replaced
Brake fluid replaced
Rocker cover gasket and sealing washers replaced
Steering rack mounting bushes replaced
Steering rack inner ball ends and boots replaced
Tracking adjusted
Fuel pump replaced
Windscreen replaced
Front antiroll bar and front engine mounts replaced
Distributor vacuum advance capsule replaced
Water pump replaced
Parcel shelf replaced with home made item due to original falling apart (again original parts retained)
Current MOT expires 07/ 12/ 2025
As shown in the photos two small areas of rust scab, one on the offside A pillar and the other on the offside rear wheel arch.
