I’m offering my well loved 1972 MGB GT for sale due to a house move and the loss of garage space.
I bought this privately roughly 5 years ago, and now it is my turn to pass it on to someone to have as much fun with it as I have. This is a lovely, fun classic, car perfect for an introduction into the classic car world.
The MG is finished in a highly desirable red colour (although not its original colour) and fitted with wire wheels and a Britax fabric sunroof.
Mechanically, it’s a dependable runner. The engine has never let me down throughout my ownership and the car starts and drives well. It’s always been kept in a warm, dry garage and benefits from a solid service history, with detailed records dating back to the last 15 years
During my ownership, I’ve replaced the sunroof canvas, renewed the rear brakes, and had both the clutch master and slave cylinders refitted, alongside other minor jobs.

Being an MG, the car has some rust, particularly around the nearside front headlight, and there are signs in some of the usual places for an MGB GT.
The overdrive unit is fitted but has never functioned during my ownership.
