Car in lovely condition and drives beautifully, always garaged and dry used, Tahiti Blue with white roof, genuine Revolution 12” wheels.
I am happy to use the car for long journeys, in 19 years it has only let me down once when the fuel pump failed, even then I nursed it home (pump now replaced)
A huge amount of work done on the car, I have provided a summary below,
Chassis, suspension, brakes>>
Replacement rear subframe plus mounts, fully corrosion coated.
Braided brake lines, replacement front to rear and rear hard lines
Refurbished master cylinder.
Replacement calipers, EBC green stuff pads, Mintex rear shoes, drilled and grooved front discs, plenty of life left in them.
Replacement rear radius arms, polybushed rear subframe and front arms.
Front hubs replaced, rear wheel bearing recently replaced
Hi-Lo’s fitted
Front cones replaced 3 years ago
Suspension recently greased
New mounts on very front of front subframe (subframe in good condition)
Sills replaced and still in excellent condition.

Cooling fan wiring recall fitted
High flow coolant pump
Belt in good condition, new tensioner.
New coolant expansion tank
New coolant temp sensor
New Idle control valve, throttle position sensor, MAP sensor fitted.
K and N air filter (original included in sale)
New exhaust down pipe and flexi plus new catalytic converter. Sportex single exit back box fitted.
Polybushed engine steadies (engine mounts done ~10 years ago, still in good condition)
Recent engine oil, oil filter and fuel filter change, last 10 miles.
Tappet clearances done ~2k miles ago.
Replacement in-tank fuel pump.
New fuel filter clamp housing and fuel filter pipe.

Bad points>>
Yokohama tyres whilst having plenty of tread and not cracked are ~10 years old.
Bodywork is generally very presentable, the car has been painted at points in its life, some bubbling around seam on top of wings, under front headlamps, and rear screen. I should add the car is dry used, as such this is deteriorating very slowly.
Some minor oil leaks, gearshift rod, rocker cover gasket. Not significant but good to monitor.
Car has two sets of keys but only one alarm fob key unit.
Car located in Belper, DerbyshireThe car has such character, is fun when you want it to be, and happy just to pop around town. A very presentable and usable classic.
People wave at you when you drive it, lots of people tell you about their memories with a mini.
I will sorely miss this car, but its time for someone new to love it as much as I have.
