Description

When I first bought my Austin and at the time it was very hard to find because this model is rare, I embarked on a complete mechanical rebuild.
The engine has a phenix crank , Reliant heavy con rods , Renault clio valves slightly re profiled, SU 1"1/ 8 carb. The king pins were replaced. The engine was built by Bob Hewston a well known Austin Seven engineer.
The seats were recovered in leather. The hood was replaced, side screens very good condition. The car is capable of over 60MPH.
The brakes can lock the wheels and are very good. The body work is far from concord but has that lovely old used look. I have never met a Seven that can keep up!I have owned this car for 25 years. It's a reluctant sale . There is quite a lot of history. The car was owned by a Doctor during the second world war and served in London. I have driven to Switzerland without any problems.
