Then passed through several owners in Wiltshire until going way up North to John Martin in Alloway Scotland. The car went through a highly detailed examination by Thomas Pate Engineer . Anything that needed attention was itemised and put right . It is all written up in dertail . This continued for the next two years . Then sold to Veronica Bailey in the Orkney Islands! In 1996 she had the engine rebult , rebored new pisons etc by Engine services in Rosewell Midlothian. In 2000 it passed to Matrin Emslie , an artist and art teacher on Orkney . It was shown in the Shetland classic car show in 2000 . Martin passed the car onto his son . It then sat in his garage for thirteen years . I bought it as a non runner . One piston had seized so the engine was again rebuilt with new pitston and liner . The valves were all re cut as were the valve seats proffesionally . The car is now in very fine fettle .
