Honda CD175 12030 miles. Beautiful honest classic. MOT Feb 26.
Restored in 2017 when I acquired the bike , new pattern silencers , wheel rims and tires were fitted. The top end was rebuilt at that time but no major work was required. The petrol tank was internally re lined and re sprayed in the original colour to a very high standard in December 2024 . The bike recently spent a few weeks at local and highly respected classic bike repair specialist in Thirsk where it underwent a full service . The battery , spark plugs , coil and condenser were replaced and the carburettor was stripped and ultrasonically cleaned , new jets fitted and rebuilt.
The engine runs smoothly and starts first or second kick hot but does need a few more kicks when cold . The bike runs and rides smoothly . It has no known electrical or mechanical faults and apart from some light corrosion around the swinging arm and centre stand the bike looks beautiful. The bike has a long MOT but could be registered as a historic vehicle. This is an honest little bike and apart from a few little imperfections this appreciation classic is as good as it looks in the pictures.
