Very good-looking and useable BX diesel estate. One year MoT with no advisories. Very good body and mechanics. Underside is clean. Suspension works perfectly, no leaks. Inside, everything functions as it should except the trip mileometer. Cloth seats and trim all in good condition, although the front headrests are not the same fabric as the seats. Front electric windows and central locking work. I bought it 2 and a half years ago, when new correct Michelin tyres were fitted (expensive, but I never skimp on tyres) and all work needed was done by local specialist Wolsey House Motors, with receipts. It hasn't had much use, and was garaged until recently, when a GSX stole my heart and usurped its place as my classic Citroën. There's an updated Pioneer stereo fitted, with a pop off front panel. There are a few imperfections: a couple of minor car park dings, and the paint on the plastic parts of the roof structure is beginning to flake under the roof bars, which is a common issue on the estate. There is an alarm fitted, but it isn't connected. I've never used the tow bar, but it all works. A lot of money was spent by previous owners, at Chevronics and elsewhere, which helps explain the good condition it's in. Overall, this is a car you can use as a daily driver, or keep as a modern classic. It gets many admiring glances (and lots of comments like "I had one of those back in the day, great cars!"), and the red paintwork sets it all off beautifully. It does have a relatively high mileage, but these non-turbo engines are rock solid - I had a different Citroën from new with the same engine which went well over 225, 000 miles with no problems!
