1972 MGB GT with overdrive.
Orange over black interior.
It's been subject to a body restoration in the recent past which still presents really well, paintwork generally bright for the age and no evidence of rot or rust on top nor underneath, and a wonderful patina.
The engine runs happily and healthily after being rebuilt during covid. Plenty of receipts in the file covering parts used.
The interior has been re trimmed including seat covers, carpets and a new headlining, looks and feels great. There's even a retro style bluetooth equipped radio!
Most recent work in June 2025 by marque specialists DS Motorsport in Coventry covers safety checks on the fuel, clutch and brake system followed by a new clutch slave cylinder and pipework as well as fresh fluid in the brake system along with other general bits and bobs to ensure the cars safety and integrity to give confidence in use (see pictures for details on invoice).
Tyres are recent (2022) and in great order - very little evidence of wear, tear or damage.
Drives really nicely, pulls and stops well, no creaks, squeaks or rattles to mention, gearbox and overdrive all work as they should.
A lovely, very useable example that still provides the opportunity for a bit of weekend fettling if that's the kind of thing you like. Or leave as is and enjoy daily without worry - it really is that good.
Viewing highly recommended - the MG is always kept inside in a bright, dry storage facility.
