An original UK 1. 3L escort with only 17000 miles from new which I have owned for a number of years and am only selling due to heslth reasons. The car was purchased new from Lincoln Street Motors Birmingham in 1980 by a gentleman who passed away in 1986 from which time it was stored in a garage by his wife and eventually it was sold to a classic car company in 2006 with 9500 miles on the clock. The car drives like a new vehicle, the only upgrade being the addition of electronic ignition. The interior is like new and the original dealer stickers are still in place. The car has taken paint at some point and, while in very good condition, has blemishes here and there as you would expect from a 45 year old car. The car is absolutely solid as can be seen from its MOT history, the latest clean MOT was in June 2025 when the car was also serviced. The car was magazine featured in Retro Ford Magazine in 2011 (copy in file) and there are various service invoices, two keys and various documentation including an email from the first owner’s son.
