Welcome to the sale of my 2003 Lotus Elise 111s. I bought the Elise in December 2024 after wanting to own one since my teens, however I really do need something with four seats.
I am the third owner from new, the previous owner had it for twenty years! It has always been kept garaged, including during my ownership. It has never been tracked.
The Elise has covered just 28, 412 miles from new and has MOT until 02/ 07/ 26, it passed this July without any advisories. There 20 stamps in the service booklets, in January of this year I took it to Bell & Colvill in Guildford for its major ‘D service’ which consists of timing belt, VVC belt, water pump, oil, oil filter and brake fluid. They also discovered that both radiator fans had seized so two new radiator units were fitted as well. This August it has had 4 new Iridium spark plugs, new valve cover gasket, magnecor ignition leads and new NKG ignition coils. As can be seen in the pictures with the cam cover off the engine is really clean with no gunk in site. It also has 2 sets of keys.
The car is standard apart from a K&N panel filter, Momo steering wheel with a genuine Lotus horn push, Elise Parts gear knob and Elise Parts cat-back exhaust. I still have the original wheel and gear knob which will be included in the sale.
I recently had the alloys refurbished in gloss black as they were looking a bit crusty, the alloys are wrapped in Yokahama Advan Sport tyres on the rear and Yokahama Advan Neova on the front, all of which have excellent tread left. Brake pads have plenty of life left.
I am in no hurry to sell, the mileage will rise slightly as I’ll use it on the weekends. I’ll happily answer any questions. Any inspection and good long test drives with the roof off down some B roads welcome.
