For sale a 1961 Daimler Dart SP250 with a cream exterior and black leather interior trim. It was kept within the same family from its first registration until it was sold to the current owner in 1978 - the original brown registration book dated 1961 shows this information.
Included in the history file are MOT certificates dating back to 1981.
The last MOT was in May 2023 and once the car is sold, it will come with a full 12 months MOT.
AJ Lee Classics Ltd completed a service in November 2024 to include - oil and filter change, check levels, fit new rocker gaskets, check, clean and adjust spark plugs, replace hoses and jubilee clips where required, remove wheels and brake pads, check and rebuild. Grease all points, adjust handbrake pads, fit new return spring for handbrake. Replace fuel filter.
In 2009 the car had an engine rebuild and a new wiring loom. In 2017 an electric power steering system was fitted.
Various service invoices itemising servicing and engine rebuild work dating back to 2009 are included. This stunning 1961 example has been lovingly restored and cared for over the last 16 years.
The car starts and runs beautifully, with a fantastic stainless steel exhaust note from the silky 2. 5 V8 engine and with the many modern upgrades the driving experience is only enhanced.
The paintwork is excellent with a beautiful trimmed interior.
Wheels are like new.
