Description
Rudge 250 Rapid for sale,
1938; the last owner who purchased it in 1978 is very much a Rudge man and also owned the Rudge Special listed below; recently largely restored by him during COVID but not really used since and will require finishing; there is a large box of spares to go with it which we assume contains most, if not all of the parts required to finish it although no speedometer; new stainless rims & spokes; we are selling the machine on behalf of the owner who assures us that it does run well and it also rides; we have made no effort to start the bike as it will require a thorough check over first; it does have excellent compression and a good healthy spark so don't doubt it; the clutch appears to work and the gears all select; sold as a stalled, unfinished project because we just don't have the time to finish it off; currently no V5c as it has been mislaid but it there is an up to date entry on the DVLA system so it will just be a case of applying for a duplicate which we can help with or do for the buyer. TRADE. p/ x welcome. More details, photos and video link to the machine running on our website at: ventureclassics. com
