Description
1938 Ford Tudor. Selling as I am not able to drive a manual gearbox anymore, owing to health issues.
The car is powered by a 1956 SBC Engine, with a mild crane cam and a new Edelbrock 1404 carb. Fitted Electronic ignition, electric thermostatic fan, electric fuel pump.
It has its original front clip, aided with an anti roll bar and big Lincoln front brakes and '40 Ford rears - dual circuit, linked to a mustang master cylinder.
It has Spax adjustable shocks all around, complimenting the original leaf springs. A rebuilt T5 Manual transmission and open drive set up to the original rear axle.
The underside/ chassis is solid, with no corrosion. The bodywork is straight and the paint in generally good condition with a couple of marks, most notably on the hood.
The interior is in excellent condition, with the seats having no rips/ tears, with two front and one rear lap belts. It is fitted with twin electric wipers.
The car is recognised and well known in the VHRA scene and is happy in the Hot Rod, Classic or Military scene, depending on what your thing is.
It's a very cool 'sleeper' that will get up and go if you want it to, or cruise along in fifth gear and give good gas miles.
Please note the licence plate toppers and spotlights are not included in the sale. £21, 000 or near offers.
